Middle level teachers and administrators are constantly impacted by the effects of legislative action or inaction.  The Legislative Awareness Committee of MAMSE has a commitment to inform our membership of both enacted and upcoming legislation, particularly that which impacts middle level students, parents and/or staff.  MAMSE has maintained a clear position of informing our membership on legislative issues, carefully avoiding the pitfalls associated with taking a partisan or a politicized position.  MAMSE does not lobby, but rather counts on the power of an informed and enlightened membership to shape current and future legislative action.
