MAMSE provides opportunities for members to be active in the association.

BOARD MEMBER

MAMSE has 14 regions each represented by a board member and one at-large board position.  The term of office is three years.  A call for nominations is published in the fall newsletter.  The election is held in February of each year.  Board members and officers set policy for affairs of MAMSE.  The Board meets in February, March, April/May, July, September, November.  For information contact the President-Elect.

REGIONAL COORDINATOR

Each region has a coordinator that assists the Board member with membership, activities and awards within the region.  Regional coordinators are appointed by the Board of Directors.  For information contact the Board Member for your region by clicking on MAMSE BOARD.

BUILDING CONTACT

A building contact is a person who wants to share information about association activities with colleagues, parents, and community members in your school.  You may want to encourage people in your building to join MAMSE, attend the conference, submit awards, apply for a grant, and submit articles to the MAMSE JOURNAL.  If you are interested, please contact the Board Member for your region or e-mail Suzanne Lappin.
